L’Kayeim connects Jews around the world to Shomer Shviis farmers in Eretz Yisroel, giving each of us a stake in the land. Now, you have the opportunity to fulfill the Mitzvos Hateluyos Ba’aretz, while remaining engaged with the farmer between the shmitah years.

Step One
Starting with Peah, one cluster of grapes is marked with ribbon and set aside.
Step Two
Another cluster is set aside for Terumah Gedolah and a larger cluster gets designated for Maaser Rishon – which is given to the Kohein.
Step Three
The Maasros are then distributed to the Kohein, Levi, and Ani (pauper), and the Terumos are buried.
